Seabird colony monitoring data from three locations at St Helena

Monthly seabird colony monitoring was conducted at Shore Island, Great Stone Top and the Lots Wife area of Sandy Bay between 2009 to 2019.

Lineage Monthly colony surveys were completed by a minimum of two observers using either binoculars or a field scope at set observation points on or near each colony. The average of the two tally counts were recorded in the Seabird database for collation. It includes seabird colony counts at Shore Island from June 2011 to October 2018. Great Stone Top counts from July 2013 to October 2018. Lots Wife and Blue Point from August 2009 to March 2012 and March 2013 to May 2019. All colony data is held on the Seabird Monitoring database at St Helena Government (SHG).
