Lineage Bushnell Trophy infra-red motion sensor cameras were positioned in front of active Red-billed tropicbirds (Phaethon aethereus) nesting cavities at Ladder Hill, mainland St Helena, during routine monitoring from August to December 2014-2018. Cameras were used to monitor active nesting attempts, to help quantify adult attendance at the nest and causes of breeding failure. ~402,315 images were taken from 25 nesting cavities between 2014 and 2018. This included ~28173 images from 11 nesting cavities in 2014, ~14036 images from 11 cavities in 2015, ~41576 images from 23 cavities in 2016, ~175,556 images from 24 cavities in 2017 and ~142,974 images from 19 cavities in 2018.
