Feather samples collected from band rumped storm petrels (Hydrobates castro), red-billed tropicbird (Phaethon aethereus), masked boobies (Sula dactylatra), sooty terns (Onychopion fuscatus), black noddy (Anous minutus) and brown noddy (Anous stolidus) dietary analysis using stable isotopes.

Feathers collected from rumped storm petrels (Hydrobates castro), sooty terns (Onychopion fuscatus), red-billed tropicbird (Phaethon aethereus), black noddies (Anous minutus) and brown noddies (Anous stolidus) were used for stable isotope analysis to identify dietary neiches at St Helena.

Lineage A minimum of 30 adults per species were targeted. In total to date 125 feather samples have been collected from 31 band rumped storm petrels (Hydrobates castro), 33 brown noddies (Anous stolidus), 11 sooty terns (Onychopion fuscatus), 3 black noddies (Anous minutus), 45 masked boobies (Sula dactylatra) and 2 red-billed tropicbirds (Phaethon aethereus) on St Helena by St Helena Government (SHG). Each adult seabird had 8-15 breast feathers pulled, feathers from primary, secondary and retrices (tail) were also cut and placed in paper envelopes for storage. All samples were sent to project partners at Barcelona University for storage, processing and analysis. Details of samples are kept at St Helena Government (SHG).
